Day 18
Woke up sooo early to go to the train station with a group of people & the history teacher to venture forth to see a castle. Jen made it to the train station but had to pull a quick U-y and headed straight back to bed. After 40 minutes we got off the train & walked 3 miles up half of a hill where we stopped for a 2 ½ hour lunch where we some life changing corn on the cob. Then we continued on the gigantour hill until 2 oz. of sweat & an asthma attack later we were finally there. We split in to two groups for the tour and set off. Our tour was cool but the thing is almost everything is a ‘replica’ so wtf is that….1 thing that we found that was not a replica however was this little man playing some sort of wanna-be-guitar instrument. Obviously we spent the duration of the tour paying him to give us music lessons and casually ruining the ambiance for all the hopeless civilians around us. After the tour we trekked back down the avalanche of a hill to the departing train. 40 minutes later we went full speed to Bo-Bagel then home for a 30 minute nap before we went to Iron Curtain for Maggie’s internship dinner. Iron Curtain may be one of the coolest bars in Prague – it has communist propaganda errrywhere & plus they let me/decided not to stop me from bartending which was awesome. We then headed to the one world wonder that is the five story club. We found a bachelor party full of characters…did I get on spider man shoulders uhhh YUP…we stayed there for the rest of night obvs and after a quick shower through the clubs water fall we were ready to catch the first tram of the morning home. If only Bo-Bagel had been open for breakfast – all I want is #eggseggseggs no mater what!
