Haha, looking back now on this day and realizing that I was.001 (BAC level) away from not physically making it to the amazing race is pretty comical. My trusty BfFlS Jen & Anne literally had to use brute force and McDonald temptations to drag me up & out. Being the responsible being that I am I packed a quick bag consisting of my megaphone…and…that is it. The good news is I had a strikingly attractive outfit aka overalls, GP polo and black nikes to wear for the ENTIRE race. None of this matters though because from the moment we arrived in Cesky Krumlov and our leader handed me an envelope with MY team on it, yes I was designated team leader, are you shocked? So was I…moving on…with Anne as one of my team members I knew we would win, are you shocked? So was I…but it happened…YUP we won the amazing race. Basically we had some clues and things to find and collect throughout the town and first team to the finish line won. Winning was tight but I still felt like death even after the adrenaline rush I got from having such a high level of being a champion. After that we all got split into hotels, basically everyone was right in the main square together and Anne and I were 2 miles away up a hill – like – to the river and through the woods to grandmothers house we go status..tiiight. We got lunch & napped until dinner – burned a total of 17 calories in one day, probably a new record…once again #winning. Dinner only lasted 2 ½ hrs but we were all together & after hit up the only bar open. The bar was woodshop gone saw’s workplace gone techno raging lights gone Mexican house music, open mind required to envision this. We stayed there for a while but had to leave after we requested Akon & they put on salsa…ummm does Akon look like he can salsa? Do I look like I can salsa? So weird how No is always the answer. On our venture back to our hotel we obviously had to take a break so our bodies didn’t go into full-fledged shock from experiencing too much exercise. This break was more or less 2 hrs, standing over a huge wall looking over the town, only to be interrupted by a 56 asian man jogging laps around us – is he serious?
Sir, that is #enough.
